Hello Central Florida Tri Club & Tri Peak Athlete Warriors,
I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to reach out and share some exciting news with you all. Our team is currently in Calella, España for the Ironman & 70.3 Barcelona event, which will take place this Sunday, October 1, 2023.
We have a group of incredible athletes who have been training tirelessly for this moment. Their hard work and dedication will be put to the test on race day. I encourage each and every one of you to show your support and cheer on our athletes: Hardik, Carlos, Juan, Rob, Risa, Danny, and Laura. They have all worked tremendously hard, and I have no doubt that their efforts will pay off.
While our team is away, I want to remind those of you who are back home in Florida to stay focused on your training as well. We have a busy weekend ahead with some great workout opportunities:
- Saturday:
- 7 am Lake Louisa Bike Ride
- 8 am Swim for Inclusion – Lucky’s Lake – Jeff Meister
- Sunday:
- 6:30 am Baldwin Park – Coach Don
Remember, consistency is key when it comes to achieving success. If you want to reach your goals, it’s important to keep moving and complete your workouts. Your future self is waiting for you, so let’s stay committed and put in the effort.
I will keep you all updated on the outcome of our athletes’ performances this weekend. I have no doubt that they will make us proud. If you have any questions or need any support, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Quick note about Angie:
Angie is a friend of mine. She is currently in hospice. She only has a few days left. So I asked her if she had a chance to go to Spain where she left to go. She said: Park Guill. So I told her if she could hold on a little bit longer I’ll get there take a picture and I’ll send it to her. So we did.
Angie’s spirit shines bright, even in the face of adversity. In her final days, she longed for a glimpse of the beautiful Park Guell in Spain. With love and determination, we made it happen. Though her time with us may be short, her impact will last forever. We love you, Angie.
