What’s your go-to pre-race meal that never fails to fuel you up and make you smile?

Arepas with Cheese

Tell us about a hilarious race moment that still makes you laugh when you look back on it.

The first time I went to Lake Louisa to train cycling outdoors I took a borrowed cruiser bike and struggled to make even two laps, I was teased a bit but everytime I go back to LL it makes me think of how much I’ve grown and how much I still have to grow

If you could create a new triathlon event combining three completely random activities, what would they be and why?

Swimmin, Running and Pole Dancing

Share a quirky habit or superstition you have before a race.

I am going to be faster on the water when the race starts if I’m holding my pee and plan to do it once I’m in the water

Describe your perfect post-race celebration in three words.

Burgers, Sweets and a good Massage.

If you were a superhero with triathlon powers, what would your name be and what abilities would you possess?

Tri-man, make the bike suck less

What’s the strangest thing you’ve seen while training for a triathlon?

People using high wheelers while cycling

Invent a new triathlon gadget that would make training or racing more entertaining. What does it do?

The little mushrooms from mario kart that give you a boost, or any mario kart items.

Lastly, share a motivational quote or funny mantra that keeps you going when the going gets tough.

“Querias Iron Man?, agarra Iron Man!” – You wanted to do an Iron Man, here’s your iron man, keep going!

CFL Tri Club Group Strength Sessions

I am hosting this session for the Tri Club members. Be prepared to grind, cry and push. It is going to be a good one.

Studio Cycling Sessions

I have a total of 5 spin bikes in the studio now. Therefore, if you do not have a bike and want to use one of the spin bikes you can. You must register via the app. Please arrive 15 min prior of class starting.

Saturday – Cycling Clinic

On Saturday at 8:30 am out of Lake Louisa State Park we will not only include drill work and pace lines but most importantly, we will be introducing and testing on new group zone rides to enhance our training efficiency and safety.

The overarching aim of this structured approach is to create a training environment that is both safe and comfortable for all. We want to ensure that no one is left behind, and everyone feels supported in their training endeavors. This Saturday’s session will serve as a stepping stone towards achieving these training dynamics.

Please arrive ready for a productive day of drill work, pace lines, and our inaugural group zone ride testing. Your cooperation and enthusiasm will make this initiative a success.

For those who have a Long Bike Ride

Please note, if you have a long bike ride and need to start earlier and have a park pass, please do so. The clinic will last 2 hours. Please bring enough hydration and nutrition.

Please RSVP via the pocket suite app.

Schedule your sessions up to two weeks out. Link
