Holiday Party Highlights

We had an amazing time at our holiday party hosted by Wynne McFarlin. Thank you so much for opening your home to us and creating such a memorable evening. It was a joy to share great memories and celebrate our community. During the event, we presented awards to some outstanding members:

  • Defying Gravity Award: Alex Saul and Marjorie Messier
  • Underdog Award: Alejandro Duran and Lyndsey Dean
  • Serpa of the Year: Jeff Meister

Congratulations to all the awardees for showcasing their talents and dedication!

Save the Date: 2025 Central Florida Tri Club Kickoff Meeting

Mark your calendars for our 2025 Central Florida Tri Club Kickoff Meeting on January 18. The meeting will start at 1 PM at Tri Peak Athlete – 1700 S Bumby Ave. Orlando, FL 32806. We will be introducing some exciting changes for the upcoming year, so please be prepared for the new schedule.

Special Run Session: Jingle Bell Everything Goes Run!

Join us this Wednesday at 5:30 am for Second Annual Jingle Bell Everything Goes Run! We’ll be running around Lake Eola with several stations of body weight exercises. It’s going to be a lot of fun, so don’t miss out! Here’s a sneak peek of what to expect:


Recovery Swim Workout for Friday

As I will be out of town from December 19th through the 28th, here is a recovery swim workout for this Friday:

  • Warm-up:
    • 300 meters easy swim / 200 kick
    • Technique:
      • 6 x 50 as 25 fist drill / 25 free style with 15 sec recovery
  • Main Set: (3 rounds)
    • 4 x 50 meters (25 meters fast, 25 meters easy) with 20 seconds recovery
    • 4 x 150 meters pull with buoy with 20 sec recovery
    • 4 x 50 meters kick with board with 15 seconds rec
  • Cool Down: 200 meters easy swim

Holidays

I will be out of town from Dec 19 – 29 with family. Our assistant coaches will be covering as much as they can during my absence. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
