Hello Team,
Congratulations to all the athletes who participated in the Golden Mile at Lucky’s Lake this past weekend! You did a fantastic job, and I’m proud of each of you for your hard work and commitment.
As you know, today is Memorial Day. I hope you’re enjoying some well-deserved time off (and maybe a few barbecue treats!). If you’re able to fit it in, I encourage you to take on the infamous
Murph workout:
- 1-mile run
- 100 pull-ups
- 200 push-ups
- 300 air squats
- 1-mile run
It’s a challenging way to honor the day, but also a great tribute to those who have served. On behalf of the club, I want to express our gratitude. We thank all the service members and their families. They have made sacrifices for our freedom and community.
Schedule
Looking ahead, we have several athletes racing at Pineapple Man in Cocoa Beach this weekend. A special shout-out to Pete. He will be racing for the first time. Best of luck to Michael Melton as well. Best of luck to both of you! Also, let’s wish Nate good luck, as he will be racing in Escape of Alcatraz.
